Boat 1. This boat mainly had about 10-15 variety of small fishes. These fishes are not deep. They goes to the sea for about 2-3 days. They uses normal gill nets for the capture of fishes. These are bycatch fishes. The fish are sold to poultry to thutukudi, manglore, kochi etc. Boat 2 This boat had mainly deep sea fishes and crustaceans. They goes to sea for about 5-6 days. They also use normal gill nets. They also use deep sea nets. The fishes are transported for poultry in nearby areas. They sell as 20rs per kg. They had about 30 craters of fish. Boat 3 This boat also had deep sea fishes including piggmy tail sharks. They goes to sea for 6-7 days.
